We are always looking for volunteers willing to put their skills to good use. Check out all the different ways you could get involved.
Trail SWAT Team

The Trail SWAT Team is the maintenance crew for all 9 New Boston Conservation Commission (NBCC) trails.

Volunteers willing to help out with the
work efforts, and possibly join the NBRT SWAT Team, are welcome to attend any of our work sessions to see if it's something you'd like.

 

All ages & abilities are welcome!
(5th graders - 99 yrs old)

Trail Rangers

There are 9 New Boston Conservation Trails.

 

Trail Rangers will oversee one (1) trail of choice for a year.


Four (4) quarterly reports must be submitted to the New Boston Conservation Commission throughout the year.

 

Reports will detail:

Winter damage to trails

General trail activity

Unusual trail activity &

Maintenance needs

Boundary marker status

Trail Ranger needed for Lyndeborough East & West to establish a hiking loop trail using some of the current fisherman trails.

Friends of NBRT

Become a member of our volunteer staff who participate in the promotion, design and maintenance of a safe year-round pedestrian avenue to be enjoyed by people of all physical activities.
