The New Boston Rail Trail expansion project is complete! The rail trail's terrain is flat without root or water obstructions and is wheelchair accessible. The completed trail has quarter-mile markers and resting benches along the four-mile stretch starting at the Hillsborough County Youth Center Fairgrounds to Riverside Drive across from the Parker Road Blueberry Farm.
There is also a Book Share in the stone building at Lang Station as well as a bike rack for those who bike to the trail and then walk, jog, or fish.
We are still in need of financial donations as the amount of materials and labor exceeded the estimates. Donations can be mailed to Town of New Boston PO Box 250, New Boston, NH 03070 with the memo "Rail Trail."
The trail is perfect for walking, running, jogging, dog walking, stroller walks and more. Come experience the sound of birds singing, the river running, and the fresh smells of nature!
