40 Volunteers Contribute to Phase II Trail Maintenence

Last Saturday, 40 volunteers showed up to help clean out swales as part of trail maintenence for Phase II.

Collectively, everyone logged in 105 1/2 man hours which turns into 1,866.94 money earned that the NH State Parks and Rec matches as part of the grant.

If you missed this work day, don't fret - mark your calendar to volunteer your time for

Saturday, October 10th, 9-noon and we will continue where this crew left off.

"I can't tell you how excited I am to actually come this far," said Louise Robie. "Getting New Boston a safe recreational avenue for year round use is exciting! If you haven't walked Phase II and III, what are you waiting for?!"

The New Boston Rail Trail still needs your financial help to match the NH grant. Half of the funds needed have been raised so far.

DID YOU KNOW: Another private donor will match all donations up to 22,000.00 through through November. The donor is encouraging groups of family, workers, friends, neighborhoods to pool together.

A $1,000 donation helps provide a resting bench, $750.00 a kiosk, $500.00 a 1/4 mile marker, $250.00 live fencing.

Please mail your donation to: Town of NB, memo rail trail: mail to PO Box 250, NB or make your gift online to the New Boston Rail Trail GoFundMe. Please do not use the donation box at Lang Station, it was broken into twice and the second time they took the bottom plate.
